Kian Gibson of Hampton, IA graduated from the prestigious GoldmanSachs 10,000 Small Businesses program as a member of the Spring 2025 cohort. Gibson is a jeweler at Christiansen Jewelry, a family-owned company that offers fine jewelry, gemstones and diamonds, giftware, watches, gold and silver bullion, design and repair services. Christiansen Jewelry was founded in 1960. Gibson enrolled in the 10,000 Small Business Program to polish the skills needed to join the family business.
The GoldmanSachs 10,000 Small Businesses program is an intensive multi-week training where small business owners connect with a network of peers, receive one-on-one business advice from experienced mentors, and learn valuable skills to help grow their business. Business owners will learn about access to financial capital and practical business skills, including negotiations, employee management, and marketing.
